Our Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we provide warranty coverage for our products purchased through Amyzel website.
- Warranty Coverage
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The duration of the warranty period varies depending on the product:
- Carpets: Warranty for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Furniture: Lifetime Warranty against termite damage for Sheesham wood furniture purchased on or after August 29, 2024. However, this warranty has certain limitations and exclusions, as outlined below:
- What is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear and fading over time.
- Minor imperfections in the product that mostly adhere to the design criteria or flaws that don’t significantly affect the functionality of the product
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse (burns, cuts and pet damage), improper cleaning, excessive loading, or neglect.
- Use of harsh chemicals or issues arising from failure to follow recommended care and cleaning instructions, including stains from spills not promptly cleaned.
- Damage to the product or its colour caused by exposure to environmental elements (e.g., water, humidity, direct sunlight, extreme temperatures).
- Damages due to shifting of location.
- Any issues resulting from commercial use or use in a non-residential setting.
2.1 Furniture
- Damage resulting from improper assembly or installation.
- Alterations or modifications made to the product.
- Fabrics, Leatherettes & Leathers: These materials are not covered under warranty unless otherwise specified. Follow the provided care guidelines to ensure their longevity.
- Upholstery fabrics (e.g., seat covers) are excluded; warranty applies only to frames and mechanical components (if applicable).
- Solid Wood Characteristics: Over time, solid wood may develop minor cracks, known as “checks” in the timber industry. These are natural and do not affect structural integrity.
- Seasonal splits or joint openings claims.
- Industry guidelines state that minor irregularities resulting from floor and surface level variations up to 5 mm are permitted and are not covered by warranties.
2.2 Carpets
- Minor colour variations or differences due to dye lot variations.
- Normal pile crushing and matting in carpets. It can be minimized by proper maintenance.
- Rolling marks. (Regular vacuuming can make these go away).
- Shedding. (You can reduce this by cleaning the rug at least once a week in low power mode.)
- Any odour or smells that develop after delivery.
- Occasional pulls or if single tufts of fiber come out.
- Customized carpets made to special order specifications.
- Rugs that have just been taken out of its packaging could smell, but this can be eliminated by putting the rug in direct sunlight for 24 hours with the back side facing up.
Disclaimer: We reserve the right to be the sole judge to decide as to whether the Product is damaged or not and our decision in this regard shall be final.
- Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team at +91-8882889548 with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and pictures of the product. Our team will review your claim and may request additional information or evidence. If your claim is approved, we will, at our discretion, repair the product or replace it at no cost to you.
- Repair or Replacement
If a product is deemed defective and covered by the warranty, we will decide whether to repair or replace the item at no cost to you. If the product is no longer available, we may offer a comparable replacement or a refund of the purchase price.
- Exclusion
This warranty does not cover any products that were sold as “clearance” or “final sale.
- Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the product.
This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and all claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Gyanpur District Court. You agree that any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Warranty Policy shall be heard in the Gyanpur District Court, Uttar Pradesh – 221403, India.
- Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for following all care and maintenance instructions provided with the product. Customers must retain the original receipt or proof of purchase for any warranty claims.
- Changes in Warranty Policy
We reserve the right to update or change this Return and Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
